Happy Thanksgiving!

This will be a short post this holiday morning. At the same time that some turkeys are coming out of the refrigerator, I want to bring out one of my favorite new quilts. It it called “Diversity” and involved using Tsukineko inks and Barbasol as well as Amish Sparkler Fabrics (which are light fabrics) in a modern wall hanging. Let me know what you think of this baby of mine!

Using Tsukineo inks and Barbasol, I marbled fabric for 8 blocks and used thread ravelings to make 4 more. These became inner blocks. Quilting was done with a simple line and one motif from marbling.
